This is my first entry, in fact it's my first blog, so let me introduce myself and explain the purpose of this blog.
By day, I'm a professional framer. By night, I'm am an amateur home "remodeler". I'm a girl with power tools and I know how to use them.
I love DIY projects and I love taking old and making it new.
I do all of my projects myself-which brings us to the purpose of this blog. To show that anything is possible with a little instruction, information and determination. The right tools help as well.
I have a few other interests that I will share on here as well in hopes of generating some interest, new friends, and new tips, ideas, and resources.
- I write. (Amateur). I read. (Experienced)
- As a professional framer, I will often share some of the stories and designs behind what I do. Every day brings something new and sometimes challenging.
- I dream of eventually buying a van and renovating it into something liveable so that I can travel and live a life free of property taxes.
- I am a cat person first, a dog person second.
- I love the outdoors more than the indoors, although I find myself indoors most of the time working on projects
- I enjoy gardening, although I've not yet aspired to a consistent green thumb.
- I believe in a free America, free speech, the constitution, the Bible, and free enterprise. (Not necessarily in that order). I believe in hard work to accomplish your dreams.
